I purchased a $15 Ebay Groupon. It specifically said it could be used over multiple purchase and the balance would be saved in my Paypal account for further used
Used $9.74 of it in April.
The balance isn't showing up in Paypal - it shows I entered a $9.74 Groupon
I tried just reusing the Groupon code on Ebay but that's a no go as well
Any idea how I can use that $5+ remaining on the Groupon?
Same exact thing happened to me. I had to call Paypal and the rep said they are having a problem with this issue with Groupon certificates. I was advised the money (in my case just over $9) will be back within 24hrs.
Interesting that you were able to get money back -- I was not. I called Paypal, and they were not able to help me. They transferred me to Ebay, and the rep said it was a technical issue that would be fixed within a week, and then basically hung up on me. So I wouldn't exactly call it resolved, especially since I found evidence of this problem occurring with non-Groupon Ebay gift certificates going back until at least March of this year.
