Transfer to my own foreign bank in Ukraine

I am an American (American account, personal) and I'm currently in Ukraine.  My US card doesn't always work here, so I opened a Ukrainian bank account.  I'd like to add this account to PayPal so I can transfer money to myself.  (My bank, USAA, is actually a credit union and doesn't have a way to transfer funds internationally.  I'm not willing to change banks, but if I can't get PayPal to work I may have to open an account at a regular bank.)

Does anyone know how to do this?  My UA bank, Ukrsibbank, isn't even on the list of banks and my account number doesn't follow the normal US format.

Thanks!

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to close your old Paypal account and open a new Paypal account registered in the country where you now live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S Paypal account holders working in other countries.

Which is why I said that ...

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account.

Most = NOT ALL.

You'll have to explain that to the banker who opened my account, because I am an American citizen with a bank account in Ukraine.

If you are in the Ukraine then you should have a Ukrainian paypal account and not a U.S one.

Check Wise rates, they can be cheaper than PayPal
