Samsung Wallet won't let me add Paypal

I keep getting the error "We're sorry, we can't add your PayPal account to Samsung Pay at this time." from PayPal whenever I try to add my PayPal to Samsung Pay.

This does not work for me for two different reasons. Firstly, Samsung Wallet is NOT Samsung Pay, which no longer exists, and secondly, within Samsung Wallet, I do not get an option to add Paypal, only my online banking information.
