PayPal rejecting new debit card

Fraud occurred on my old debit card Unrelated to PayPal My bank sent a new card but since I have registered it on PayPal app it says it can’t confirm it? So it’s not accepting payments from it? My PayPal is under my maiden name and has been for many years My old card was under my married name and worked fine But wondering if this could now be an issue? Or if it’s something else? Thank you
