Link a non US bank account

Hello! 

When I go to link a bank account, I only have the option to link a US bank account. I do not live anywhere close to the US, none of my transactions are in USD and my account is set up in my native country. Was there a change where PayPal only accepts US bank accounts? I would ask a support operator, but apparently there is no way to reach out to PayPal support so I have to ask here. If anyone has any information, it would be very much appreciated!

As you haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately its hard for us to advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

No idea as you haven't said what country you are living in or which countries paypal account you have opened.

In my case, I have an account in PayPal Portugal. Can I link a US bank account? I didn't find that option when trying to add a new account, but I'm asking for clarity. Thank you.

You can link a U.S bank account that was opened in the U.S.

You can't add a virtual / digital U.S bank like Wise or Payoneer as they are not Paypal supported.

You can only add a U.S bank account that was opened on U.S soil as Paypal does not support Wise / Payoneer (or any other virtual banks).
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.
