How do I turn off one touch? The instructions posted by PayPal are no longer valid

PayPal instructions say to turn off One Touch go to security settings and turn it off but PayPal has removed the option from the menu. Are there valid instructions somewhere or a method to prevent One Touch? It's a security risk if someone gets a hold of my laptop plus I want to choose which fund source I use when making a payment. With One Touch PayPal takes that choice away. Really a rotten feature in my opinion

The article you referred to is the article I am complaining about. It is no longer valid. PayPal removed the "Turn Off Auto-Login" button.
Now, when I make a purchase and click on "review your purchase" PalPal deprives me of reviewing my order and deprives me of choosing my payment source and instead PayPal chooses my payment source for me and completes the transaction without my consent. Not to mention it is a security risk if someone gets a hold of my laptop!
I've been a PayPal customer for about 20 years but that may change. PayPal's disregard for customer right of choice is unacceptable and I've started using alternative payment methods that allow me control over my money. Why use PayPal on eBay, Walmart or Aliexpress when those companies respect my right of payment choice and offer safe and secure transaction methods? Why use a third party intermediary that has no respect for my right of choice?

I have this issue too! Is completely unacceptable that they permit this kind of vulnerability. Just the other day I did a payment of +400$ on an eccommerce website and it didn't ask me for a single authentication step, no password, no SMS confirmation. Just +400$ by doing one click.
Yes, I agree with you that if this can not be solved I absolutely not using PayPal again for the future purchases. It is seriously risky to keep this function open.
@D_A_R_V Probably the only way to solve it just changing your PayPal password.

I spent 1 hour with 2 different customer service team from PayPal. They do not know what one touch even means. I had to explain and ask them to look into their HELP. Finally they read the same article. They even sent to me in message center as if they have done a great job. They could not understand that that option in step 3 is not visible and we could not turn it off. Really bad training to their staff . Still no resolution
