remove bank account linked to deleted account

Okay so my situation is quite specific.

I created an account on my phone. When I tried to log in on my computer the password would not work. After some tries it said that I change my password or create a new account. I could not change my password because that is not possible (afaik) in the mobile app. Therefore I had to create a new account.

No problem I thought. I deleted my old account and created a new one. However, my bank account is still linked to my old (deleted) account and I cant add it to my new one (error: that card is already linked to the maximum number of paypal accounts).

How do I resolve this issue?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
