Why can't I add money to get rid of my negative balance?

Help, when I try to add money to reduce my negative balance. It only shows "Add null" I can't add money and it prompts me with "Check your information and try again". Is there something I can do? I am on browser and I'm attempting to add the money from my bank checking account.

If the negative balance was caused by a failed bank transfer in some way then paypal stop you using that option as a funding source and want you to use a card instead so.........

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Or mail a cheque as per link.

5. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.

Thanks! The negative balance was caused by lost disputes. I will try to find another way.

A fresh connected bank account still has this problem. The phone option doesn't work because the staff said to submit a help ticket and linked me to the merchant account help page.
