Thanks for your post and welcome to the community
I understand that you are concerned to link the Google pay with PayPal account.
You can't add PayPal to your Google Pay account through the Google Pay app. However, you can add it via the web page or through
your Google Play app. Once you do that, your PayPal account will appear as a method of payment in the Google Pay app itself.
Requirements:
You need a Credit/Debit card
Laptop or Desktop PC (Optional)
Steps:
Go to "https://play.google.com/store/account" in your browser
Sign in and click ''Add Payment''
Select PayPal. It will redirect you to PayPal. Press ''Continue''
Once in PayPal, sign in to your PayPal account
Enter your Credit/Debit card information
Once you do that, press the "Agree and Continue" button
Your PayPal account should now be linked to your Google Play Store account. You're set.
