I live in the USl If I buy crypto on PayPal, they say they provide a list of all my transactions. Does that include costs, fees and such?

I struggled with this for quite a while.

PayPal says they will compute a report at the end of the tax year, but that is not very helpful IMHO.

If you to to Statements and Taxes, and select All Transactions, you can enter the date range and they check the Type of transaction in the downloaded file --- you should see Cryptocurrency as a type and see your crypto transactions there.

Not very helpful system....

Thanks for taking time to address my query. I agree that what you described is not all that helpful. It's bad enough that PayPal only offers 4 cryptos, 2 of them for which I have only marginal interest. I may have to look into Coinbase or another exchange that offers reports that detail buy/sell price, gain/loss and transaction costs. Cheers!
