Can't use paypal account as my payment method at freelancer.com

Hello, I am Christian, i need someone to help me. I've connected my visa card to my payplay account as got a message confirming that i've connect my card successfully. but once i tried to use my paypal account as payment method on www.freelancer.com I get this message"Check your account at your card issuer before retrying this card".

Is it a visa credit card as required in your country and have you confirmed it?

it is debit visa card

Means that to use paypal account as payment method at www.freelancer.com, first I must add Visa card(credit one) in order to link my account to freelancer.com?
