Where is my refund?

I placed a grocery pick-up order with Walmart for $174 using a debit card through PayPal. I cancelled within 2 minutes because I entered the wrong store location. Walmart issued a refund. PayPal completed the refund, but I won't receive the funds in my bank account until 5 business days! This is totally unacceptable. It took seconds to remove the money from my bank account, and I have to wait 5 days to get this money back for a one minute mistake?

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account. Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).

Thanks for your reply. Customer service told me the same that I would receive the refund within 5 business days. However, I just checked my bank account and the funds arrived. In my case, it took 5 hours to get the full refund.

I have been waiting nearly 2 weeks for my refund from American airlines/priceline    Priceline received the money from American airlines on September 4th.  Since then I have gotten the run around from Paypal saying they have no record of it even though I have provided documentation to paypal to prove that Priceline refunded me.

Hello Can you guys help me out please. I got an email from PayPal saying that I will receive the refund and all I have to do is to wait . Today is the time that money should arrived, and yes it says Refund arrived but the money is not in my card so where is my money ?
