I added a $100 visa vanilla prepaid card to my paypal.
I want to purchase an item worth $170 online.
I have a bank account, a debit card, and an old gift card that has around $15 left linked on my paypal.
My question is would paypal automatically take the remaining $70 out of my other payment methods?
If so is there a specific order in which it would take it?
If it doesnt automatically take the remianing funds from one of the above alternative options.
Would this work with paypal balance if I put the remaining $70 in my paypal balance? Becuase I want to use up the prepaid card.

Hello @Nanjero,
That's a great question. When making a purchase, the preferred payment method will be used. Here's how to update the preferred payment method. Regrettably, if you chose a card that doesn't have a high enough balance to fund the full transaction, the payment will be fully funded by the next available card or bank. If you have additional questions please reach out to our Customer Support team. You can contact us here.
Thanks!
