Refunding a e-cheque sent by a customer that hasn’t cleared

Someone sent me money by e-cheque and they want to cancel it so that they can send it again normally. It doesn’t give me and option to refund my end and neither his. How do we go about cancelling the transaction because I have explained I can’t dispatch until I receive the money?

You can't cancel a processing electronic bank transfer ie echeque, you need to wait for it to clear and then you can issue a refund.
