NRI in USA, with NRO account, no INR currency available for payment for friends and family in India.

As NRI in USA, I have linked my Indian NRO bank account, completed KYC showing India address too.

I see no option to send money in INR to folks in India.

I see USD as primary option. Why?

Please help.

INR is not a paypal supported currency unfortunately.

Also you can't send friends/family payments in India.

Lastly you can't send any payments from an Indian buyer to a seller in India as you can't use paypal in India domestically.

Sellers in India can receive USD from international buyers.
