I've received a payment I don't recognise

My business bank account (not my PayPal account) has received a fairly substantial payment from a PayPal account, but the only information I have is a PayPal reference beginning PPWDL....

I can't figure out how to find out who sent it. I tried reporting it to the PayPal phone line, but the virtual agent interpreted my question as reporting an unauthorised transaction and locked my account! (I've now unlocked it, so no worries there.)

My bank doesn't have any further details about the transaction.

Thanks, maybe that's what it is. Seems a bit of an odd scam though.
