Hello. There was an accident. Help me. I added my Paypal as the payment method on Upwork.
Recently, I changed my Paypal login email. But I didn't change all other infos, my primary phone number, banks, card and so on.
I withdrew some balance to my PayPal account 2 days ago, November 1st, but after the withdrawal, I noticed that it was sent to my old PayPal login email. Because I didn't change my old Paypal email on Upwork.
As a result, I haven't received the balance in my PayPal account. Of course, I can't login PayPal with my old email. How can I solve this?

Thank you for your reply. I was unable to access the community until I changed my community account name to align with the policy, so I just saw your response.
Yes, I still own the old email address. So, I tried to access PayPal with that email, but it was strange. It only asked for phone verification to log in. Actually, I expected to see a message saying "Cannot find this email/account," but that didn't happen. It was weird. So, I entered the phone code and logged in. There was no money and no past transaction history. It looked like a new account, but it already had my name and address. I waited for a few days, but there was no change. In the meantime, it could be considered that I had two PayPal accounts.
Now, I have deleted the account with the old email and added the old email to my current PayPal account again. However, nothing has changed so far.
And also, Upwork sent me the transaction details for the old email. I think I can't share that directly here.
Please help me.

Normally if you add and confirm an old email address to your new paypal account then the funds would come with it.
HOWEVER that only happens up to 30 days and after that it reverts back to the sender.

Could you tell me where and to whom I should send the transaction details from Upwork to Paypal for the purpose of tracking the money?

Hello, Warm greetings to the PayPal team. I posted my problem for a transaction which took place on Nov 1st.
Today is Dec 1st. I still haven't received the payment for the transaction yet. I want to share the details that I received from Upwork in order to inquire if I can expect to receive THAT payment or if THAT transaction will be rolled back. I already knew about normal cases. I want to discuss with THAT transaction.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

I asked about refund in message center and they said the fund would be reversed back to the sender within 29 days and I would be received an email and notification. But it's already over 29days and no changes yet.
Actually, I am not happy. Please let me know what is wrong.
