I am having a problem getting a refund from a company in Canada.

Iam having a problem getting a refund back into my bank account.I ordered a motorcycle part from a Canadian company.After 12 months i asked for a refund.Eventually they sent it to Paypal but it would not go in to my bank account.I enquired but the chatbots could not see the refund even though i could see it on my computer.Has anyone actually spoken to a real live human at PayPal

Is the refund actually showing in your paypal account balance + activity and if so what does it say on there?
