Declined Transactions Policy Clarification

I would really like to know the logic behind not allowing an account holder to see declined transactions, as getting notices that I need to add money without telling me who is trying to take it or how much is needed is about to make me stop using PayPal altogether. It’s often extremely difficult to reach a customer service rep to get any answers, so denying account holders this basic function is a horribly poor business practice at best, and intentionally deceitful at worst. The answer is going to determine if I abandon PayPal permanently.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

My question wasn’t how to access it. Yes, I can jump through links and phone numbers and wait on hold for a couple hours to eventually learn the information that nearly if not every other banking option and alternative offers. My question is WHY must I go through this process? Providing a user details in a declined transaction, especially when asking them to put more money in their account to cover said declined transaction, is standard practice for pretty much everyone except PayPal. I can see no valid reason -security, logistics, etc.- to make finding out who tried to get money from me and how much a complicated all-day commitment when it should just be shown in my transaction page.
