Cashing check in USD on Paypal France

Hi all,

I have a Paypal account in France tied to a French bank which refuses to cash a Capital One settlement check I received recently form the US becuase the check is in USD. So I am trying to figure out if I can use paypal to cash this check for me.

Think that option is only available in the U.S.
