ADD UK PHONE NUMBER TO MY US PAYPAL ACCOUNT

I Iive in the UK and  have just purchased a house in Florida which I rent out.    My first Renter has just paid funds into my newly created USA Paypal Account.  However, the money is on hold.  I have given my Tax Number which has been accepted, but is now asking for a cellphone number, but the only one I have is a UK cell phone number and it doesn't accept that.  So the money is still on hold and not released to me, until I can confirm my cellphone number which I can't, as it won't accept it????   Help!!!!!

Paypal is country specific so you have open a Paypal account registered in the country where you live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your Paypal account. This is because Paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S citizens working in other countries.
