how do i get my refund from canceled payment from marchant

hello, i subscribed 2times to a plan but all the subscription was canceled by the merchant, i was not debited by my bank so i taught the transaction was not going through because my subscription was not also running, when i checked my bank statement this on the 24th i found out that i have been debited by paypal 2times, i checked my paypal account to find the two transaction cancelled, so i want to know how long it takes to get my refund back to the card used for payment, because i cant find my balance on my paypal account, how do i get the money back to my account

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
