Why does PayPal hold my money for so long. I need these funds to live, pay rent, buy groceries etc. I am expected to wait an estimated date of “May 4th” for a transaction that was sent to me on April 13th. Previously I have gone the route of sending PayPal pictures of the product. Uploaded emails from me and the clients saying I completed the service. Did everything to verify that the transaction was legitimate. I still had to wait 40 days to receive my payment. I am not sure why the funds are on hold for so long? It’s ridiculous. Every time I try to click on the “get funds faster” “confirm your phone number” it just refreshes the entire page. Now, they are giving no option to “receive my funds faster.” I have only used PayPal for a few months and it has been nothing but holding funds for weeks or months. I stay on because so many clients ask me for PayPal over square, check, invoice, Venmo. I am not sure how the company keeps growing in popularity with issues such as this. What other platforms do you use that are less horrendous than PayPal?
