Why PayPal exchanged my transferred amount to EGP while I have changed my card currency to USD???

PayPal had exchanged my transferred amount to EGP with a very low exchange rate (18. 34) while I have changed my card currency to USD since one year and I have been receiving money every month in USD until today, can I know why did it changed???
