Tried paying with my Paypal balance, but it didn't work.

Hello.

There is a sale going on over at Steam today, and I used it as an opportunity to swipe up Batman: Arkham Asylum. I tried paying for it using my PayPal Account, and I was hoping to use the balance in my account to do this, but for some reason it didn't work. Instead, even though I payed for it using my PayPal account, the charge still went to my credit card, and my PayPal balance was left untouched.

Can somebody help me with this? Did I do something wrong, or am I missing something?

If this helps, the price of the game I was buying was $4:79 in NZ dollars.

If you want to purchase something using your PayPal balance, you have to set your PayPal balance as your preferred way to pay for stuff online.
