Paypal customer service agents have no clue what they are doing. I had an issue last week and got 3 different answers from 3 different people. I asked about pending deposits and I was told not that there isn't one but that they CANNOT SEE pending deposits it has to actually reach paypal.

So basically, agents cannot see anything until the money is in your account. They are not a bank. The account is actually through Well Fargo. So only Wells Fargo bank agents can actually see the complete details. It's a messed up system and the agents really have no clue.

Either way it would be nice to give your customers SOME kind of support right now. No one knows what is going on with our money even though it was issued today. WHAT IS GOING ON ?!?!?!?!?!

Oh I totally agree. I work for a call center that relies heavily on our support. And while I am not a part of that part of the business we have agents working from home and available 24/7. Wait times are a little higher but the level of service has not diminished because of this. I feel this is an excuse for paypal to be lax and not provide the assistance needed. Their actions and lack of concern for their customers is completely deplorable and frankly disgusting. I am all for having understanding during this time and recognizing that things will take a little longer and be a bit out of sorts but they are pretty much silent providing no communication and relying on their help center articles to answer questions that it quite clearly cannot.

I'm in the same boat. i work for a call center for multiple Casino establishments. I'm the only one available to take calls because i was the first hired and everyone else has been laid off. its extremely frustrating for guest. I just came to the realization that they money will come eventually and just to play the waiting game at this point. but i agree this is highly disappointing on paypals end to not give any answers or solutions. I will definitely be relying soley on my main bank account from now on
