Refund not rec'd from PayPal

Read all info regarding funds sent to incorrect acct number. Funds were not claimed or denied. It's been over 30 days. Info states after 30 days PayPal will return funds to original sender & could take 5-30 days depending on type. Ok...got it. QUESTION: What if PayPal does not return the funds after all the proper actions have been taken? Yes, a mistake was made. Input wrong acct number. Funds never claimed. Now...What is next step for the sender to get their funds back? PayPal failed on their end of refund guidelines. Plz advise.

If it showed as unclaimed on the senders side it would time out 30 days post sending and go back to their funding source.

I would allow up to a week for the funds to show back (may be a bit longer for a credit card).

It's been way longer than the acceptable processing periods. Not getting any action, answers or continued help from PayPal. Please advise next best step or action you suggest. Thx.

As mentioned, followed appropriate instructions. Been now waiting for my funds to be returns almost 2 YEARS. Yes, 2 YEARS. $1500 is a major hardship to a disabled senior! HELP

Sounds very odd, are you sure they were never claimed?
