Pending refund

I accidentally purchased twice from a seller. They refunded one of the payments but it took weeks to arrive in PayPal. By then I’d claimed on the second payment as the item had failed to arrive. I won my claim and a refund was agreed on this second payment. But this refund has been pending ever since. I don’t know if the other ones with the same company for the same price has confused it, but it’s been pending in my PayPal account since 13 October and every time I try to contact PayPal I fail! Any help appreciated. It’s for 19.99. Thanks

Did you open the claim with your funding source or with PayPal? If you opened the claim with your bank or credit card, it may take 75 days or possibly longer to receive an update from your bank or card company. We recommend reaching out to them for the specifics on your case. If this dispute was opened with PayPal, here you can find our Customer Support contact info.

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure I entirely understand the question, so if I get my answer wrong bear with me! I opened a dispute with PayPal in the resolution Centre, which was closed in my favour. The refund for that has been pending ever since (October 13)

I messaged PayPal on fb last week when I posted this, and was told to send in an email to the person I was speaking to with a screenshot of the dispute resolution and the transaction id. He replied to say he had escalated it to the ‘back end’ team.

Thanks for the update, @dare2dv8. I'm sorry my post was a bit confusing - you got it though! It sounds like the agents assisting you via Facebook are getting your case into the right hands. Yes thank you - the two messages I mentioned above were sent by email. Only the original messages were on Facebook. Once they’d asked me to send info via email they sent their replies via email. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon. Thanks for your help. Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
