Payment went to wrong person

Money went the wrong person. The transaction is complited. I contacted with recipient, but nothing. I don't see any solution from PayPal. Even a small polite message to the wrong recipient, that he would return the money, would be ok. No help. This can happen because there are still people with similar names. This kind of mistake is very easy to make. There should be a better system to prevent such mistakes. I don't have to know that the person with the name I wanted is a different person. I see that people who have asked for help with similar problem in this community have not received it. So do I.

How did you send the funds ie friends/family OR for goods/services and how did you fund your paypal payment?

Have you reached out to the recipient and requested them to refund the payment?

I sent the funds like to a friends/family and I fund payment partly with credit card and partly with PayPal account.

I have reached out to the recipient and requested her to refund the payment. I have sent 4 messages. After 4-th message she answered I am made silly mistake. Yes, I am silly, but be human! I did`nt send money just like that for bretty eyes. I sent money for reson that this person never cannot fulfill. Not hard to make few clicks.

If you partially funded your Paypal payment via a credit card then contact your card issuer and see if they will help you but unfortunately they may decline as well as it was a gift payment.
