PayPal Not Using Balance

I have USD10 PayPal balance and my PayPal account link to my credit card. I made a purchase amounting USD14. But PayPal use 100% my credit card without utilizing my balance

If you have the option to select a funding source then you can do so here...

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in the balance option.

Thx you. I need to install the apps to see the option. Website version has no option for that. I've set balance as preferred payment and it say will ask for alternative payment when insufficient. So I just hope it will works the next time I buy something
