MY VERIFIED LINKED BANK ACCOUNT DOES NOT APPEAR AS A FUNDING SOURCE ON CHECKOUT

I have good patience but I now beyond furious due to paypal's security system. I have verified and linked my bank account to paypal but my does not show up as an option when trying to send payments or when trying to buy items, I keep getting asked to add a payment method when in fact my bank account is already link and set as preferred payment and website and retail funding source. I can't even add money from my bank account to my paypal balance, I keep getting an error saying "we are unable to process your request. try again later," and when I phone paypal support they always say wait 72 hours and after waiting 72 hours.. guess what...you guessed it! same issue and what does paypal say again wait 72 hours and the cycle just repeats and repeats. I was only able to transfer money from my bank to paypal balance once for $150 after that I can't even use my paypal account literally I can't use it because paypal's system does not show my bank during transactions/checkout. What's the point of paypal being in business still if things like this happen, this is no good since it is preventing usage of the account, it's just an account with information on a database sitting on the internet. Paypal is no help AT ALL, I just don't get it, maybe they need to change their system or stop automating everything that comes through.

Add and confirm your debit card and use that as your funding source?

I'm having same problem in my business PayPal.   the link is there but will not add money. I get same error

You haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately we can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

I already have a linked debit card and that does not show up as a funding source either. My choice was to use my bank account rather than a debit card which still does not work. There should be no reason why I should not be able to use this service as intended with everything verified already. I was able to transfer money only 1 time from bank to my paypal no nothing works in paypal. How is the only option to use a debit card, there should be a solution to this problem to get it fix. WE ARE CUSTOMERS. You are all just blowing us off with no solution to the problem.

Well you aren't a customer of mine, I just give up my time voluntarily to help on here.

Thanks for confirming you have an issue with your debit card as well, that gives more of an insight into your issue but I will leave it for others to help you further or try customer services.

I've been having the same issue. A transfer didn't go through even though I had money in the account, the bank got disabled. My card linked to the bank is still listed but now I keep getting failed request when I try to add money through the card or re add the bank account. I'm $5 in debt to paypal now because of this nonsense

For options you need to say which country you are in.
