I can’t see the money on my PayPal

I’m new to PayPal, someone sent me money and I received an email that says the amount of money that has been sent but I need to confirm my email address so the money will appear on my PayPal however I did confirm my email address yet I can’t see the money! Does take time? And there’s no activity that have shown that the person sent me money!

Firstly be wary of scammers that send fake paypal emails saying you have been paid.

Secondly if you had been paid the funds would show in your paypal balance, nothing in your balance then you have not been paid yet or the payment has not succeeded for some reason.

Sure you have confirmed your email address?

Are the funds being sent in a currency you can accept?

Have you double checked the email address to make sure that there were no spelling errors or typos done by the sender?

What does it say next to the transaction on the senders side?
