Hello. PayPal knows that I do not ship the goods to buyer until my money is available. And many times they put my money on hold. I have to wait now 21 days until my money is available then to ship the goods to buyer. This leads to confusion.

The new seller hold is between you and paypal and nothing to do with your buyer.

Your buyer does not know the funds are on hold and they have no more buyer protection than if the funds were in your bank account.

The hold is for Paypals benefit as if the seller refuses to refund a buyer after losing a paypal dispute paypal has to refund that buyer under their buyer protection policy and then chase up the seller to reimburse them, the hold stops that from happening.

If you refuse to send until the funds are released then odds are your buyer will file a dispute for non receipt of item and that would leave you with disputes on your account and the hold policy would probably be extended or your account limited.

ir as I can see you did not understand my query. I never had problems with this buyer, the PayPal make problems by putting my money on hold. Till now I could ship items to my buyer Marco Barlocco. But as paypal put hold on my money I have to wait for 21 days until my money is released so I can ship the goods to a buyer. This is nonsense to me as Mr. Marco could receive his goods within 1 week, not after 30 days.

As I said if you don't send your buyer can open a paypal dispute for non receipt of item.

They have paid and so shouldn't have to wait for their item.

We have all been through the new seller hold, and I doubt anyone makes their buyers wait, in fact they ship asap and send trackable as that way they get the funds released more quickly.

Then you will probably get an 'item not received dispute' which will mean the buyer will be refunded.

This will create a big chaos and distrust also to buyers because they believe me not paypal because of that reason they send payment to me. Because they trust me, I am not a cheater. Cheaters deal on eBay only.

Its been paypal policy since they started and every seller goes through the new seller hold worldwide for about the last 12 years.
