How long before the PP* MERCHANT CHARGE on the eGift Card I added gets refunded?

I received an American Express eGift Card as a holiday prize from my employer with $100 on it. When I went to add it to my PayPal Wallet to use an alternate payment method, it immediately got dinged with a $0.10 "PP* MERCHANT CHARGE". It's showing as a "Pending Transaction", but it's been sitting there for a week now. Is that charge ever going to get refunded? I want my dime back!
