Exchange rate different upon payment

I won an item on Ebay, Paid through PAYPAL 15/12/21. I checked the correct amount in Currency calculator 313,50 was equal to $480.47. Before making payment PayPal's conversion rate: €1 EUR = $1.5326 AUD This rate is an estimate based on the current rate and includes PayPal's currency conversion fee. I was charged $519.43.  What I have been charges is 8% more than the current rate. I took screen shots approximately 30 seconds before I made the payment. Thieves!
