Cannot pay with paypal linked to CIMB debit card

My transaction with CIMB debit card is not successful. However, I have called CIMB and they said my account is good to go. Why is this happened?

Paypal does not accept all cards so if its a card that can't be confirmed with the code ie an online/cash card it may not be accepted.
