Cannot change automatic payment preferred method

Hello there,

 

At some of my automatic payments, I cannot change the preferred card to withdraw money from. It does not happen with all, but only with some. More specifically, for example when I try to change the payment method for Sony PSN, I get an error message "Something went wrong, please try again later". Happens both in desktop and mobile versions of the app.

Thank you for the post. I understand you are unable to change the preferred payment method for few of the automatic payments set up. I suggest you to check if you have the same card used for other automatic payments and they are working. If yes, you can contact the card issuer to check if they have any limitations to process payment to certain merchants. You can also try basic trouble shoot like clearing cache and the history of the browser before login to PayPal and try setting up the preferred payment method. If the issue persists, please contact PayPal support for better assistance.

Thank you for the response, all the cards are working fine and some of them are used in different automatic payments with no problem. And as I said above, the platform does not even allow me for some payments to select, when I click to change the preferred method an error message comes up. Furthermore, same thing happens on mobile and on desktop apps, cleared cache etc. So I will have to contact support I guess.
