Cancelling a pending payment from a client

I have two pending payments from a client that I would like to cancel. There is no cancel button anywhere, and the pending date is overdue, but they're still pending, for some reason. The client cannot cancel them as well. How can I solve this? Thanks!

It looks like there are a ridiculous amount of bugs that are happening and it's costing people money. I am so frustrated with PayPal. I am going to exclusively use other apps and exclude this BS from payment.

Pending where?

 

Pending in yours AND the buyers account ie echeque with a clearance date?

Pending / on hold in your account as a new seller?

Pending / unclaimed just on the buyers account?

Pending / unclaimed with a cancel option on the buyers account?

Well, the buyer says it's also shown as pending on his side. I'm not a new seller, and there's no cancel button available.
It says that it's pending until the 5th of October, which was a few days ago...

Then if its only pending on the buyers side check that the email address that they are using is correct without any spelling errors or typos.
