Adding money with Giropay disappeared?

It's becoming harder and more frustrating to add funds to PP as they keep bullying you into adding a credit card at every chance they have! Welcome to the future, I guess?
Since I have no credit card, just a good old bank account/debit card combo,  whenever PP has trouble pulling funds from my bank for whatever reason, I get put in a loop. "add a credit card" they say... UGH!
PP has already successfully charged my bank account but I'm still waiting for the negative balance to be resolved on their side.

 

as a German resident, I used to have Giropay as the immediate method of adding funds and solving any pending issues. Now, the only alternative (after closing thousands of "add a credit card" popups) is to use the bank transfer method - which takes up to 2-3 workdays.

To any other people based in Germany here: do you also have the same problems? do you know where the Giropay option is hidden? Is there anything better than PP in Germany to send money abroad and pay securely online? I'm simply tired of being schikaniert.

To Paypal: Either your human assistants are not allowed to tell us what's REALLY going on with our accounts, or they have no clue whatsoever.

I know for sure that you blacklist people and disable some options when a payment fails to process. It's not the first time, and yes, you can blame me for poor financial management, but YOUR TRANSPARENCY is as opaque as a block of concrete
