Paypal my cash error code 203

So I guess paypal my cash whole system is down cause it won't let me load up my card ... can customer service please help!!!

I just bought a mycash card 20$ and it gives me error 109...

8th day. Still not working. No contact about status on ticket , even though the 24 to 72 hour window they promise has long passed.

So digusted with this whole thing. The public should be made aware to NOT purchase these cards! My heart breaks for all the Christmases ruined by this fiasco, and for the future victims. You know some unsuspecting person is putting money down today with NO IDEA they are about to be swindled. Shame on Paypal for not putting out a customer service announcement to the public. There is no excuse for that!

 

It's a known issue - if there is even 1 chance of creating a new victim to this fiasco they should be HALTING the sales and letting the public know, especially at Christmas.

I totally agree with you 123id ....when I saw those paypal cash cards still for sale at my CVS  yesterday I was just hoping another unsuspecting customer does not buy one for Christmas shopping only to find their holiday ruined when all they see is error code 203!

8th day for me and still no contact from paypal. This is pathetic to say the least. I'm actually at a loss for words on how they have handled this situation, as if we are all just going to go away and let them keep our money?!

Also has anyone noticed that the forum reps (who mind you have not bothered to address this thread but have been on posting in other threads), moved it from the main forum to the bottom of their forum to the Feedback section. Guess they didn't want to leave it at the top of the forum for others to see and take note of?! This company is getting shadier by the day!!

Mine worked!!  Finally!!! I don't know if this had anything to do with it  or not, but one rep mentioned you have to clear your cache and try to load it, which did not work.

However, many times when I tried to load the card I would get an "access denied" message.

I got to thinking maybe he was right and there was some weird cookie which was keeping the card from loading, so aftter trying it one more time the regular way to no avail, I opened a google chrome window in "incognito" mode (which means no cookies would attach)  typed in fresh the paypal.com/cash  so it wouldn't pull up an old version that may have a cookie attached and I tried it again. I nearly fell off my chair when it worked!

 

So either it was a truly weird timing coincidence, or there is something to what the one rep said about it being a cookie.

Hope this helps anyone trying it, maybe you will have luck as well.

 

Like I said, open a window in hidden or incognito mode and see if that helps.

Not sure about the cookie idea- when my card wouldn't load I tried clearing my cookies  and browsing history several times and it did not help... thought that might be the problem......but .my card did not load until Paypal compliance finally  sent me an email saying my card had been straightened out..... so just my experience on it...good luck everyone!

Just bought a MyCash card without knowing about this problem.

 

I demand a timely resolution to this issue. It is absolutely unacceptable, and what you have done is tantamount to theft by any legal definition in the first world. I have paid for a service, I did not recieve said service.

 

The fact that you seem indifferent to such a massive issue makes you no better than scam artists. I am extremely displeased that you could run your company so backwards, and again I think I speak for everyone having this issue when I demand a more timely resolution.
