Xbox Live repeat payment - cant use MasterCard/Eurocard..?

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can explain why I cant use a MasterCard to fund a regular billing agreement with Microsoft for my Xbox Live subscription? I can use one for Spotify, and most other regular payments, but when i tried to set it up today, it says i cant use Mastercard as the funding source (or backup source, apparently)

I'm assuming at this point that it's a vendor-specific setting, and Microsoft haven't allowed it, in which case i need to have a little chatette with them...
