We are using the Web Payment Standard to integrate our company website to PayPal shopping cart and payment handling.
Here is the situation:
I am trying to collect customer's information on our site before passing it over to the PayPal shopping cart due to our complex tax structure, the tax will be passed on with the individual items in HTML variable.
It is important that customer does not change the shipping address on PayPal site because then the tax calculations would not match, so I disable the prompt for shipping address by passing no_shipping=1.
Now the problem is with shipping, PayPal does not seem to recognize my shipping records from Shipping Calculations. I can still pass the shipping charges in HTML variable and it works but there is more than one type of shipping method available for the customer to select so we need to display it as drop down on PayPal side.
Is there anyway I can bring up the shipping methods on PayPal site while I disable the change of shipping address?
I would appreciate any help or pointers.
