I did a Java update and now I can't print International shipping label.  Domestic work fine.  The screen is solid black were it usually shows the International label.  Java verified I am up to date for my system which is Vista and I run Firefox.  Help!!!

Thanks for taking the time to look into it, since no one at PayPal can be bothered.  🙂

Thanks smallbusiness47! This is the only workaround that I found to work. I am back to IE7 with Java update 17 on an older machine running XP and I can print international labels again.

What I have tried that does not work: Windows 7, IE8, Firefox, Chrome and Java update 21. On 3 different computers.

I have asked for help from eBay, Pay Pal and Pittney Bowes. eBay and Pay Pal both gave up after hours of them reading tech blogs from their computer screen and said they would have their supervisor contact me (NO REPLIES) and Pittney Bowes said they will not help any eBay or Pay Pal customer in any way.

If I ran my business that way, I would be living on the streets.

Thanks for starting this thread and posting solutions. We had the same problems on all computers and various browsers as well. The only cure was to go though windows program uninstaller and get rid of the last update (21) and we did the download of v.17 also. This cured the problem. I can't imagine there are not thousands out there with the same problem.

Looks like they finally fixed this on their own. Only took a month but I sent 3 packages to separate parts of the world and they all printed automatically with a new system that doesn't use java and applets.

1. Uninstall all versions of Java using using Revo uninstaller in advanced mode.

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

To get to advanced mode just clcik on the program to uninstall and look at the pop up window, check advanced mode. Then click Scan to remove all traced of this program.

2. Remove the newest version Adobe flash player. Get an older version if you want.

3. Use a registry cleaner to remove all traces of Java. I used CC Cleaner, did reg clean and browser clean.

4. Reboot computer.

5. Reinstall the following version of java using this link

Just started using Pay Pal 2 days ago for my biz...It has been the biggest challenge of the business problems with almost every app on their site dealing with fullfilment. Anyhow, Ill be damned if I am going to step back to previous versions on Java...cause other apps will be fighting for the newer version.

Alternative: manual labelling it looks to be faster then continuing the international label headache and what future ones will be brought with the international lable app.

I was so excited to use paypal...they lost an enthusiastic customer. Heavily considering checking out PayPal alternatives as a whole.

I hope they get it together...! would still like to use the solutions they advertise.
