Can only use PayPal funds to pay for UPS label? WHAT A JOKE!!!

So apparently with USPS I can either fund my label from paypal funds, a credit card, or bank account.

With UPS, however, I MUST use PayPal funds. This must have been hidden somewhere in the UPS, eBay, and PayPal policies - all 1000 pages of it. I had $0 dollars in my PayPal funds and expected to pay with my card or bank account for a shipping label for an eBay item I sold. I NEEDED TO SHIP THAT ITEM TODAY, but sadly cannot. To add funds to my account it will take 3-4 days.

As a one time courtesy PayPal is going to credit my account with the shipping amount, but that still takes 24-48 hours. BULL**bleep**!

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH UPS? WHY CAN THEY ONLY RECEIVE WHAT'S IN YOUR PAYPAL BALANCE? MY LIFE'S SAVINGS ARE IN MY BANK ACCOUNT WHY WON'T YOU TAKE MONEY WHERE I AM GUARANTEED TO HAVE IT?

I had to go to the UPS Store and pay counter rates to ship a package, because I can't wait the few days it will take to have funds transferred from my bank account. I would have transferred the funds ahead of time, but I didn't know that I needed to. I could have sworn that I paid for UPS shipping using a credit card or bank account before. Maybe not. I often pay for USPS that way.

This wasn't an eBay package, but I can easily end up without enough funds in PayPal to pay for a shipping label. It happens if I am buying stuff on eBay in the same time frame that I am selling stuff. I am forced to use my PayPal balance to pay for the stuff I buy, so the account may not have a balance when I need to print a shipping label.

This is just a bad policy.
