I am a first-time user to Papal and I already have an issue on my very first transaction. I had transferred funds from my checking act to a brand-new PayPal act., planning to send 100. To my daughter who is overseas, but it drew again from my checking instead. I am also trying to establish myself as a reliable purchaser on Ebay. I am considering getting a "green dot" or such paypal reloadable as a back-up. WORST CASE SCENARIO: 1) a hold on my daughters' e-check , and a reliable back-up source apparently is not a consideration. 2) I am of fixed income and I dare not re-send for fear of additional deductions from my checking account 3) my initial deposit will be in limbo too long to complete my ebay transaction 4) a normally acceptable re-loadable will be denied the instant remedy. if any of this happens I will not make my bills this month. At this time the only feedback I am getting is from those who are currently having unresolved issues-and advice to look elsewhere for reliable, speedy transfers.
