I want to be able to prevent a seller from charging my account or get money out of my balance.
Is there a way for this? I really need the money I have right now in my account and I don't want the seller to charge jus yet.

The seller does not take money from your account, PayPal does the transaction. If you purchased an item, the funds are taken from your account and transferred to the seller. Sorry there's no layaway features unless the seller offered you the Bill me Later option.

Ok I understand what you said, but I haven't bought anything yet. The seller is a book membership site, and they charge when they ship the next book. I just don't want them to charge first without sending me the product before hand.
