"Unclaimed"?

Hi,
Recently, I received a payment (this afternoon), through PayPal for $22 for a Freelance job. It has appeared as "Unclaimed". My available balance is £0.
Do you know how I can gain access to the money and stop it from being "Unclaimed" and not "Completed"?

Do you mean it is unclaimed on the SENDERS side??
If so the can you ask them if its got a cancel option next to it or not as that is important to the answer.
Also double check that they paid to the correct email address, even a small typo would make it come up as unclaimed.

Hello AlexGalpin,
Welcome to the PayPal Community! If a payment that you have received shows as unclaimed, this could relate with our internal security system asking you for an additional action. This is normally related when a payment received shows different characteristics to previous payments that you received (for example, you received a payment in a currency different to the one in your country).
