What details do I give to a buyer to receive payments thru Gumtree

Hello everyone, I know this is a silly question. I have sold a lot of things via ebay no problem.  They always advise not to give anyone the email address associated with the paypal account, for security

My question is, if I start selling on Gumtree and somebody wants me to send the item, what info is safe to give them in order to receive payments into my paypal account ?

When you sell on ebay your buyer always gets your email address why would you think they do not?

Its on every paypal payment receipt that they get.

What ebay don't let you do is send email addresses via their message system but that is to stop someone soliciting off ebay transactions.

Your email address identifies the paypal account the funds are to be sent to so your buyer needs that to pay you.

OR you can send him an invoice or money request to HIS paypal email address instead.
