Hi all, I have booked a holiday through a website that allows you to go direct to the owners. I paid the deposit through PayPal and due to pay the rest any day. The owner has sent me an email asking for me to pay the fees for both the deposit and the rest of payment. I can't find anything within our agreement that I would be responsible for this and also I can't see a way of doing this on PayPal. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance, K

A seller is allowed to surcharge BUT ONLY if you are made aware of the fact BEFORE you pay.
So personally I would say no they are responsible for the fees now.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
