I am wanting to send some money to my Grandson in Germany is it

possible to send to his mams Paypal account ?

You can send a payment to any other person with a paypal account.

The best way to do it is to send it in their currency.

Make sure you use the friends / family "gift" option and if you fund it from your bank account and not a credit card then there will be no fee apart from a small currency conversion fee.

When you go to send the money select her currency from the drop down list and before you click submit paypal will tell you how much will be debited from your bank account in sterling.

Your welcome, just make sure you imput the email address accurately with no typos as you can't dispute gift payments if you make a mistake and send it elsewhere.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forums 

It depends entirely on how the payment is being funded. If you were to send a payment via your credit, or debit, card then the payment should be instant. The same applies for payments funded by your PayPal balance. If it's being send by a bank account then it might take a few days before the day is completed.
